The world’s top professional cycling teams will “bike the line” at the Johnny Cash Trail in Folsom on May 20th while participating in the AMGEN Tour of California time trial. The cyclists will pass right under the newly constructed Johnny Cash Bike Trail bridge as some of the fastest men and women in the world race against the clock.

The Amgen Tour of California is a Tour de France-style road race that takes professional cycling teams along hundreds of miles of California’s most challenging, and iconic, coastlines and highways.

The City of Folsom provides a scenic and historic backdrop for the cycling pros who will participate in Stage 6 of the tour today. The official Amgen Tour website calls Folsom a “cyclists dream come true,” and the City is thrilled to be chosen as a host city for the tour.

In addition to Folsom, the Amgen Tour takes cyclists through cities such as San Diego, Santa Barbara, Morro Bay, South Lake Tahoe, Santa Rosa, and ends in Sacramento. Folsom is the 6th of 8 stages along the tour.
