The Johnny Cash Trail is a celebration of the legacy of The Man in Black, community, and the beauty of public outdoor spaces. What better way to support the trail than by getting outside as a community?

Join the Johnny Cash 10K Run and Support the Trail
The Johnny Cash 10K Run takes place on Johnny Cash's 90th birthday, February 26th, 2022 at 8:30 AM. The event is a collaboration between the City of Folsom, California State Parks, and Bear Adventure -- an adventure travel guide of the best hiking and biking in Northern California.
This 10K run will showcase some of the finest paved trails in the Folsom, including the Johnny Cash Trail!
Runners will begin that morning at the Dan Russel Pro Rodeo Arena, following the trail up across the iconic Johnny Cash Bridge and along Folsom Lake and the beautiful American River.

Registration pricing is tiered:
- Before January 31st for $35
- From February 1st - 24th for $40
- From February 25th - 26th for $45
$3 of every registration will go to support the Johnny Cash Trail. The City is currently fundraising to add the Art Experience to the Johnny Cash Trail, so not only do you get to enjoy a fun day in the community, but your ticket also helps bring art to Folsom.
All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
